If I cancel before my subscription ends, will I be refunded for any unused time?

Storyblocks does not typically offer partial refunds for unused subscription time on annual plans. Refund eligibility depends on whether content has been downloaded during the subscription period. If no content has been downloaded, you may be eligible for a refund, which typically takes 3-5 business days to process (6-10 business days for international customers).

When you make a subscription payment, it purchases the commercial licensing for any assets downloaded during your membership period. As a result, we cannot issue a refund for any unused time in the billing period, as the commercial licensing for that period has already been issued.

When content is downloaded, Storyblocks grants a 100% royalty-free license for commercial use of the downloaded materials. This licensing ensures that subscribers retain licensing for the projects created with the downloaded content even after the subscription ends, provided no refund is issued.

If you want to cancel and have not downloaded any assets since your most recent subscription payment, please contact our Support team at support@storyblocks.com. In rare cases, partial refunds may be offered as a one-time exception, which may require confirmation that downloaded content will no longer be used.
