DaVinci Resolve templates are opened directly in the DaVinci Resolve software using the Project Manager.
Steps to open a template
Open DaVinci Resolve Project Manager.
Right-click anywhere in the Project Manager window and select Restore Project Archive.
Navigate to your downloaded template folder and click Open.
The template project will now appear inside the Project Manager. Double-click to open it.
There are a few different template file types with DaVinci Resolve templates, but DaVinci Resolve Project files are the most common. You can learn more about using the other files in our blog article or by watching the video below.
Important note
For the best experience, make sure you have installed any custom fonts included with the template before opening the project. Missing fonts can affect how text and design elements appear.
