Our video clips are offered in MOV, MP4, and 4K formats. Most modern editing software supports these file types, but we always recommend checking your program’s specifications to confirm. You can see what formats are required for editing directly in the description of each item on our site.

Compatibility notes

  • Video clips (MOV, MP4, 4K): Compatible with nearly all video editing software.

  • Template content: Requires specific programs:

    • After Effects templates: Adobe After Effects only

    • Apple Motion templates: Apple Motion only

Read more about template requirements here: what are the different types of Templates?

Quick Tip

If your editing program doesn’t support one of our formats, you can use video transcoding software to convert the clip into a compatible format.

  • One popular open-source option is HandBrake, which has been widely used for many years to convert between common video formats.

Note: While tools like HandBrake can be useful, they are third-party products. We cannot provide technical support for their installation or use.
